Just half an hour away by car is the Feldberg Ski Resort located. With its 38 lifts and 63 km of slopes, it is one of the largest ski resorts in the Black Forest.

The cross-country skiing center Todtmoos-Gersbach has a continuous track length of about 15 km and has a number of medium to heavy sections.
Suitable for beginners trail with skaters track and 2.5 km length is located at the public pool in Vordertodtmoos.

The highlight of every winter are the international Sled Dog Race. Always on the last weekend in January there is a hint of Alaska in the southern Black Forest.
No other region in Europe has become so established in husky sport as the southern Black Forest with the recognized ski resorts Bernau and Todtmoos. Both communities are considered pioneers in this sport. In 2003 they jointly held with great success the Huskies World Cup and received large international recognition.
